This interactive online learning course will familiarise you with the basic concepts of diagnostic testing.

You will learn more about:

• Designing and filling in a contingency table
• Defining and calculating sensitivity and specificity of a diagnostic test
• Defining and calculating the predictive values of a diagnostic test
• The difference between apparent and true prevalence and be able to calculate both from a 2x2 table
• Interpreting diagnostic test results in an applied context

This course will take you approximately 60 minutes to work through.
