You are investigating 800 apparently healthy and non-vaccinated cats by an ELISA for FeLV (feline leukosis virus). Isolation of FeLV from blood is considered to be a gold standard. Virus is detected in blood samples from 69 cats. Of these, 63 have a positive ELISA test result. Among the animals without virus isolation, 14 are positive in the ELISA.
